Hadas Goshen received her M.A. from NYU’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute in 2011 and a B.A. in English Literature from U.C. Berkeley in 2009. Her work has been published in The New York Times, O, the Oprah Magazine, and The Jerusalem Post, among others.
From 2009 to 2010, Hadas taught English at the Czech University of Life and Sciences in Prague, before relocating to New York City for graduate school. She then left NYC for her native San Francisco Bay Area, where she joined Google Maps, and then YouTube as a Strategic Partner Manager.
After a brief stint volunteering PR & Marketing for the non-profit 826 National, Hadas continues to enjoy donating her time to the 826 Valencia tutoring center and geeking out in its Pirate Store. She is also a certified Zumba instructor, the founder and host of YouTube’s monthly open mic, and has competed on multiple national poetry slam teams – most recently the 2017 Berkeley Poetry Slam Team and 2016 San Francisco Slam Team.
